OK here is a Question,

i went to the shop to see my car today...
n asked the guy to paint my Grill to black while at it......

Then he said...the Paint MIGHT come off with power spray etc etc when wash car...
cuz no matter how u sand it..it'll still come off...

then i said i'll think abt it n give him a call tmr...

SO GUYS.....

Did ur black grill color come off???

Painted mine about 8 months ago, flat black using duplicolor paint. Might redo mine as I think I want the gloss black this time.

What kind of paint was he going to use? It shouldnt come off most of us use spray cans to paint our grills and I havent heard anybody yet say that the paint is coming off. And your getting yours professionally done hmmmm..

I've had grills painted both myself with spray paint and professionally at a body shop, and there isn't much difference as far as how long the paint lasts. It's bound to get chipped no matter what.
