How do you remove side view mirror/motor?

I need help with my side view mirror folks.

Apparently, it's been knocked off of the mount (the mirror). For some reason it can mechanically move inward, however, not outward; downwards.. however not upwards. lol

I have ordered a new mirror.. however, it's the wrong model. Thus resulting in a return of the product. Nonetheless.. the new mirror is in it's entirety. So I already do have a new mirror and motor.

I just need to know how to replace it.

If anyone can help.. It's highly appreciated.

Thanks folks

Open the door and pop off the little triangular cover off at the front edge of the window near the A-pillar. I think there are 2 or 3 10mm nuts/bolts that hold the mirror on to the door panel, and a wiring harness clip. I could be foggy on some of the details, but its not that hard. Just take your time and make sure you don't just try to yank it off the door lol.
