Having Trouble With My Window need answers ASAP

hey whats up, im havin trouble with my window,,, see this chick slammed my door and it seem like ever since then, my window is having trouble going up and down like its stuck. what do u think it can be??? need answers and advice ASAP!

Search for Window reset, believe you roll the windows down hold the butons down for 15 seconds then up and hold.

i'm having the same problem and i contacted my local dealership and they quoted me $500 if i have to replace the motor...i'm going to try resetting the window and i believe theres a thread for that which requires taking apart the door panel

yea i doubt if my motor is out, bc wen i first got the car it wus wrking fine, then wen tha chick slammed my door it seem like rite after that it had trouble going down. do u kno where the tread is posted??

what I've read is that the issue that we're all having is a design flaw.. There's no vents for the carbon filings to come out of so it builds up on the tiny brushes that are inside the motor, and clogs them up.. The only way to COMPLETELY get it working again is to open the motor, clean the filings out, regrease the motor and replace the motor back. But eventually, this will end up happening again. That's why people go through so many, some as recently as 6 months later..

So understand that buying a new one will only last you so long.. you WILL have this problem again eventually.. Nissan never made a change to the window motor.

Heck yea! She slammed it hard, I should of Drifted on her F'N lawn after that ish. I haven't been too worried about the window rt now, bt yea PM me ur prices

yea i definitely agree on tht, bc it does seem like it could be clogged up, bc at times it does start to go down some but slow, but other times its jus completely stuck. so yea ill open it up and use WD-40 and see how it works.
