That sounds like rail dust. For some reason Infiniti seems to have this more so then other makes. The cars pick it up in transport. It will come off with clay but you have to work like hell at it. Buffers just wont get it. See it all the time when installing clear bras.
When its bad I use dish soap mixed with water instead of a quick detailer with the clay bar. Seems to break up the debris quite a bit better.

i get those too, but i get it mostly on my rear bumper and trunk.. claybar removes it but u need quite a lot of patience...

I had these all over mine. Really severe towards the rear of the car. I tried buffing them out to no avail.. Clay bar did take them off, but was a very long process. Need alot of beer and patience and but will come off. Before claying them, you could feel them with your hand, after felt silky smooth. I think it is the accumulation of brake dust. This is all over all cars, just alot more visible on the IP's. I used magic clay, and dawn and water solution.

I spent 4 hrs claying my car because of these damn yellow dots. Even after all that effort, there are still spots here and there. God they are annoying.
