Any DG Coupes with Blacked Out Grill and Headlights?

I have a DG Coupe, and LOVE the blacked out grille, and love the black painted headlights. I have some black rims and it seems like it doesnt go, so I think this would pull it all together. ANYONE have this done? Cannot find pics of this on a DG for the life of me.

I hate to say it, but not feeling the headlights. Im just not sure how to tie in the black rims (sportier look). They were flat black but looked like black steelies. So I painted gunmetal, now just look dirty. So thinking Glossy black. BUT nothing else on car is black, so i have sporty rims + luxury looking car= . I just want to make it sporty.

I always wanted to paint my headlights DG.
I think it would look tight with my black grill.
Just don't have the time or money right now.

Do they have headlight overlays in DG? Never thought about that but it would look good too. I like the black projectors but not the style i have. Is the DG paint hard to find? id prefer to paint it if i went that way.

I think bat has dg overlays but I think it would look so much better with the head light unit painted, kind of like the Corvette Z06.

So i guess it is the projectors that pull it all together. BUT cant you remove the orange when you pull the headlight apart to paint it?

you can dremel out the amber turn signal lense....its a pita, I did it on my old 04 lights....but you cant remove it by screw like in the projectors. Much better to just go with projectors.

I have a DG coupe.... and I have had 3 different black setups (chrome infiniti logo on grille and chrome projector lens bezels. The first was a matte black grille and matte black projector housing (no clearcoat).... the second was basically the same but with 3 coats of clearcoat on the grille... the third is high gloss black grille with triple clearcoat... and my projector housings are a triple gloss black with a layer of moonlight black (sparkle flake)... with a layer of clear coat. The grille needs to be clearcoated or u will have a million chips in the paint within 6 months.... even with a triple clear coat on my grille now I still get some chips.... I can post up some pics when I get home.... (the black on DG is the only way imo..... especially since it matches my Volk GT30's in Formula Silver perfectly )

I tired multiple times to match the DG paint myself..... and even professionally it still comes out a few shades off.... it is a very very hard color to match. I had my whole car repainted DG as well as my friend who has the same DG coupe... different body shops..... mine came out lighter/brighter/and way more flake..... his came out almost a greenish DG... and thats with professional paint match.... at the end of the day.... when i finally matched my projector housings to my DG paint the best I could.... I didnt even like it... so I went back to black lol .... the contrast makes all the difference imo
