I need paint

I need to buy some paint for my car, it's laser red so color code AX6. Not touch-up paint or a pen, but actual paint because I'm going to paint my side markers. Anyone know where I can purchase this?

Matt

I dont want to do this all the time but I can mix it for you and send it. But it would be faster to just stop by a good bodyshop that has a mixing room with all the tints imo

most good body shops have their own mixing systems in house, but some order by the gallon or pint from auto paint supplier. i don't know where you are, but i'll give you an example. here in baltimore, marty's auto paint is a shop that sells paint and paint equipment to the area bodyshops. they carry the paint and all the shop supplies from paint guns to shop towels. however, you do need to know that even if they sell you the paint, you will need to get reducer, hardener; be able to mix it to proper proportions of bascoat and clearcoat for ambient temperature; have an air compressor that has a drier in the line to the spray gun you will need to shoot it. you will also need to buy clearcoat, etc., etc., etc.. i didn't even mention the correct prep materials like sandpaper or scuff pads. unless you want to make this an ongoing hobby, it is not going to be worth the $300 in paint and materials alone to get this done, not including the hardware (paint gun and compressor).

Yeah...sounds like a lot to just paint my sidemarkers. I'm going to talk to a friend of mine that has done it before...otherwise i'll just get them in clear. Thanks for everyone's advice/help.
