Tinting tail lights
I have been wanting to tint my tails for quite a while now to go with my black wheels, roof and roof spoiler but I have been kinda reluctant because I am not sure which path to take.
I have a few options to make them how I want.
1. Blue bat overlays (i have to order them, wait and they aren't really cheap)
2. VHT Nightshade spray tint (cheap but can turn out looking like ****)
3. Cut the lights open and paint the reflective stuff black (sketchy as hell)
I saw a DIY for the removal of spray tint and it was clearly on the outside of the tail lights, so I am wondering if that is a good option? I can get the can of tint for like $10 and it's removable with some paint thinner and some work. so it's definitely the safest and cheapest.
Any other options will be taken into consideration. I am not looking to black them out, just a light tint so they aren't bright red!
Thanks

I am leaning towards bats, I have just heard they leave edges exposed?
Cruzmisl, I'm not going black just a light light tint to make it flow with my roof.
