Angry Can't get my grille out!

I have tried but I can't get the little tabs to go in and pop it out.

I have all the plastic screw things of but I can't get the tabs, tried with multiple screwdrivers and tools then got frustrated and took a nap

Any tips on getting this bad boy out? needs to go black!

It didn't help it was like 99 degrees today haha, I was sweating buckets and pissed off.

What tool do you use? Just a small slotted screwdriver? Or is there something more effective?

Keep at it and make sure you don't break any of the tabs on the grill (like I did). It's really frustrating and there isn't some magic method. You have to sort of coax it out. I'm taking mine off soon to repaint it and I know I'm gonna be in for a frustrating time.

i can't get those 2 CG101 clips either.

how do they lock in place? do i have to squeeze them and push?

what do you do with the flat head, which direction?

those instructions on the manual + the tabs drive you nuts.

thanks, those pictures helped a bit.

and i finally got them, i found a small flat opening from the front of the grill to slide your flat head in to turn the clips 45 degree. shine your flashlight through that hole and you'll see how this tab locks. you'll have to hold a flashlight, pull out the grill and turn your screw driver at the same time............

(why don't they say this in the manual instead of "remove the Tabs")

you will want to losen the 6 clips first from inside the base of the grill. in the link above, there are photos.

then once the square plastic **** is turned to fit the hole at the right angel, just jam away at it until it pops out. These two tabs are never going back in my grill as i found out clipping them back on is just as hard as taking them off OMG!!!

let me know if anyone who haven't already done this needs photos.

yes, you have to turn the square tab 45 degrees to match up with the hole then pull it out. there are two of them each on the top left/right of the grill. use long flat head.

I once took off one from another G and it was much more difficult than mine. Try using a panel remover...
