I have searched this with no luck.
Will a sedan back seat fit in a coupe? Has anybody customized the backseat of a coupe to make a 3rd seat in the middle?

 

A sedan seat will not fit in a coupe. Yes someone has modified the coupe seats and removed the cup holders and put a little custom made seat covered in black leather to match the seats, i even think he made a seat belt as well but i cant find the thread

I've taken apart the front interior a couple times now. Guess it's time to learn about the back. One thing tho, I will need good professional leather work. I wish the rear seats were a little less bucket-like too, but that's major reconstruction. I wonder if I can fit the backseat of a gen1 Solara in there. Them are some comfy back seats.
