The wedge bulbs seem to fill the strip better. No "hot spots".

go for PIAA Super Plasma 168 Wedge Bulbs part #19170 for the corners and clearance.

prices vary all over from $20 for 2 bulbs at zippos (eewwwwww) to $11.50 for 2 bulbs at some online shops plus a little shipping but definitely worth it. just do a search on yahoo...that's how i found mine.

speaking of this, i may be able to get a group buy on PIAA wedge bulbs if anyone is interested...send me a PM.

ha and i was gonna get the LED's - i find it weird that the bulb is better then the LED...oh well thanks for ur input everyone!

I have the piaa white led for the clearance lights and love them. They match the factory H.I.D. very well. You don't see a blue hue when looking at the light housing, the led's are clear.

Just installed the Piaa 168 super white wedge bulbs last weekend, in the clearance and side markers look great. No blue hue, match the headlights perfect.

 

here are my orange polarg wedge bulbs.. best looking IMO..

I got PIAA white LEDs for the clearance strip. I decided on LEDs so I don't have to do that install again any time soon. Such a PITA! [img]/w3timages/icons/tongue.gif[/img]

so LED is the way to go if i dont want a blue reflection coming from the headlights? my goal is to match the whiteness of the stock headlights for the sidemarkers and clearance lights, can someone recommend me some that dont have that blue tint?

No way are the super plasma wedge bulbs brighter than LEDs. They will not fill the entire strip.
