Intense's website says the Nismo body kit is arriving in June.

When I do web searches I am coming up blank for anyone else offering the kits. This makes me believe that the kit has not hit the US shores yet.

Does anyone know for sure what the status of the Nismo kit is and who offers them for sale? Your help is appreciated.

well what i am going to do is get the type-n kit wich is identicale to the nismo kit but is only 399.( from the nismo front on i-m-racing it is 5 down and 1 over)

Where did you see the type N kit at? I couldn't find it anywhere? I want to get the Nismo kit but the price is too much so if you can give me the link, it would be really appreciated. Thanks

Is the Nismo kit urathane or also fiberglass like the Type N? I have never had a fiberglass bumper and am concerned it will get destroyed (considering the number of rock chips I get).

The coupe authentic Nismo front bumper, side skirts, and diffusers are all fiberglass. That is why I originally went with the type-n. I got mine from 350zforums.org.

 

Are you serious??? The kit on my sedan is made of urethane!

Yeah coupes are all fiberglass, sedans are urethane. Probably because you can't get the coupe originally with the Nismo kit.

 

I believe it is actually FRP (fibre reinforced plastic) -- not as brittle as fibreglass.

I got mine Nismo sideskirts shipped direct from Japan and for sure it wasn't urethane, maybe something like fibre reinforced plastic.

 

i contacted japanparts.com and they were happy to answer our questions...
- the nismo coupe kit is made of FRP (fibre reinforced plastic)
- and to my disappointment it is only a lip for the coupe on the front (it still looks hot though)

it is a whole front bumper..!

 

FRP and fiberglass is the same thing just 2 different names for the same product no difference at all. ...
