Just to get it straight:

What you're saying is, if it comes from Japan and is different than what we got OEM here in the states, it is considered JDM... Even if it is NOT intended for the Japan Market... I don't know if your understanding is 100% correct, but I can accept that... I'm sure you can see where the confusion comes in... I was questioning the "JDMness" of the clear corners just as Hondas2k was when I started to see the pics of the Skylines as well...

When it all comes down to it, all that matters is that when we say JDM corners, we all know what it means... Regardless of if it's the correct term for it... Just like the Tiptronic shifter in the 5AT... Yeah, it's not the real "tiptronic" shifer, but who gives a damn, you know what I mean...

yeah...japanese spec skylines come with amber corners...i visited japan last month and havent seen one with clear corners(well....i have seen one but it had a lot of exterior mods)
and i guess Risingsun124 is right.....whether it is JDM or not, when you say JDM corners, it automatically means clear corners in US. Nissan doesnt make clear corners though.

 

For the record, the clear corners are available in the Japanese Domestic Market (JDM) as an optional accessory. You can see that here: http://www.nissan.co.jp/OPTIONAL-PAR.../exterior.html

And they are NOT available in the US market. They have to be imported or bought from someone has has imported them.

Therefore, it is JDM.

youre WRONG. i bought my clear corners from Infiniti, who got them from Nissan Japan Domestic Market... so YES, they ARE JDM...

you didnt know that it was optional. if you knew about it, you would have said it earlier but you were keep saying that the skylines that come out of factory have clear corners. if you were actually trying to say that it was an optional part, work on your grammar man, your posts dont indicate that those parts are optional parts. and i see you are using the F word.....ur probably a little teenager right? drive a civic man, i heard those are faster than enzo ferrari...

Ok this guys really confused !!
Ok here it goes, anything that's on a car from the factory wether Japan, China or USA has OEM parts. If our cars came with clear corners stock it would still be "Oem" but its the JDM "style" that people get it confused with. Same with the IS300 tail light;s being "Altezza" JDM products. Understand now?

At the end who is wrong? who is saying "the clear corner is not JDM"? i think the answer is quite obvious! And we know that clearcorner is optional, it has been discussed on this forum long time ago!

Btw, who is the one who write like 10 posts and was completely wrong? who is the one saying "Nissan doesnt make clearcorner" while everybody else says they do?
