Cool 35% tint all around (35/35/35), or 20% tint in the rear (35/35/20)?

I had 20% tint all around on my RSX (the car I had before my G), and it looked real nice, except the rear in day light. The windshield brought too much light in and changed the back 20% to looking more like 30% maybe 35%, no good.

I'm interested in just getting a smoked 35% on my G, but I'm concerned about the rear, if its 35% in the rear, it might look like 50% or even less, thats no good. I'm thinking I should go 20% JUST in the rear (not the rear sides) and that will keep consistency during the day.

But what about on foggy days, would be it very noticeable I have 20% on the rear and 35% on the rear sides and sides?

Pics would be helpful as well! Thanks.

...I have black interior and silver exterior.

I have black interior and silver exterior as well.

I have 5 in the rear (all 3 windows) and 20 on the front passenger windows. In the right light, it looks like 50 because of how much light the windshield lets in.

Any pics? I'd just want it on the rear window not the rear sides though. The rear is the only window with an opposing tintless window (windshield).

35% is too light. I would just do 20% all around.

20% is too dark to me these days, don't need to hide my face. Just lookin to smoke the windows. And cops are annoying.

C'mon I'm sure someone has this tint scheme..

Where in NJ are you from? It makes a difference because of cops.

I'm from central Monmouth county and I have a Twilight Blue coupe with tan interior. I have 5% on my rear three windows, 20% on my two front windows, and 35% on my windhsield. I have not gotten stopped yet.

Not the best pics, but it is all I got.

Remember, all of the pics are taken in DIRECT sunlight so this is how the tint WILL look in the sun.

Cool, thanks for the pics.

I wouldn't get darker rear sides than the side windows personally. It's too easy to notice the contrast. The only problematic window with consistency is always the rear because of the front windshield. But if you tint the front windshield, the rear doesn't need to be tinted as much.

I'm from bergen county, cops are a bitch. Annoy me quite a bit about tint, at least in my RSX, I'd always drop my windows if I saw one just so they wouldn't see the sides were tinted. I'm tired of the anxiety of driving, to look for cops. I like being able just to cruise without any thought I'll get pulled over for something ridiculous like tint.

There are way to many Gs in Bergen county.

I also have a medical exemption so if I do get pulled over the cops really can't do anything. I would suggest you get that first so you have an excuse.

Interesting, I don't really have anything medically wrong with my eyes. Does that really work against cops?

Pictures are a horrible representation of tints. 20% can look like 10% or 35% depending on the lighting and angle.

It's a reference at best. Again, 20% could look like one or the other.

You're better off just asking someone you've seen in person what tints they have (i.e. at a car meet).
