Painted my OEM grill gloss black.

My friend works at a body shop, so I asked him to help me out and paint my grill gloss black. I really like how it looks on the car. This is the first 'mod' that I have done to the car, besides the window tint.

Who told you it wouldn't stick to the grill? How was this person going to paint the grill?

not sure. Id assume u sand it or strip the chrome, prime, then paint. Am I missing something?

Also Im looking to get flat black SF WInnings. U think I should match the grill flat or go gloss> Its a white 07 G

Thanks for the comments! I actually forgot about this thread. Just have the painter strip/sand down the chrome, prime, 2 layers of paint, and finish it off with clear coat. It should work fine. I am getting my rear valence painted this week.
