I'm done for now, the solution is repainting . I try clay, wax, wetsand, buffing, ... anything. Actually the clay bar started to remove the paint where the spots are. With that I realized that clear coat is gone, paint is already peeling off. The only chose I have is to fight with the insurance company to pay , or I am gonna have to.
I will update and add pictures after I get it done. I hope is gonna be soon.

Hi everyone, I know it is an old thread but for those of you how are interested my car now is totally repainted. My insurance decide to cover the damage because it was a chemical splash, it was like brake fluid, the paint has holes through it and damaged all the way to the metal. However, repaint was the only way to fix it, my insurance covered total price of $5400. I can post pictures if someone is interested. The car looks better than new it is excellent paint job, I still can’t believe it. 8:
P.S. thank you guys for your time and advices.

Have the same problem on my hood, part of the roof, the pillar next to the windshield, side mirror, trunk, and parts on the door. I always thought it was paint chipping from rocks/stone. Didnt think it was a defective paint/clear coat.. I guess i gotta look more into it. Your insurance paid for it all? How hard was it to get the insurance company to pay for it? Where are u located and what insurance company to u have?

thanks

I have similar marks on my mirror and top door pillar. It looks like acid rain ate into the clear. It has been bugging me for many years but I do not wnt to repaint yet. There are only about a dozen lil spots. Glad you got a nice repaint on your car.
