I just received my overlays from BlueBatMobile. I had an appointment this morning at my local tint shop to have them installed. Unfortunately, when I got there they told me the "kit was bad." (WTF?)

They didn't understand why the vinyl was pre-cut just above the center portion of the overlay. They said it should all just be one piece (SEE PIC 1)

Also, they said that when it was shipped, it "kinked" in the mail so the vinyl was no good. (SEE PIC 2)

I'm pretty pissed (at the tint shop, not at BlueBat) since I've been waiting all week to have these installed. Anyone know of any reliable tint shops in NJ that can install them? Or if anyone on here is in NJ and has experience installing them, please PM me.

What a crappy tint shop. Might want post their name up with a review in the regional section. They clearly just didn't want to do it.

They tried to push their "professional" vinyl overlays on me and asked me where I had bought mine. I told them a well respected user on a G35 Forum and they looked at me like WTF?

Do you know of any decent tint shops in NJ that could get this done?

 

Cracks me up what some shops will say because they are too hesitant they will f**k up the install. I have an installer in Jersey if you still need one. Just shoot me an email .

yup, me and that installer have talked... but yea he does good work, im bats so cal installer
