Anybody ever take these single bulb lights out and replace with something different? If so, how did you do it, any DIY stuff on it, and does it look good w/ say blue?

 

I replaced them with piaa bulbs, just open the door lay on your back and pop the plastic cover out. Im pretty sure it shows how to do it in the manual. Also they are the same bubls as in the dome light

I also changed mines with the PIAAs along with the dome lights and the top glove box so that they all match... They look soo much better than the stock bulbs...

whats the point of putting a $15 set of bulbs in the door sills? i can obviously understand putting it in the clearance and corners cause they're visible at all times and actually make it look muuuuch better. but the door sills? and glove compartment?? i don't think i would spend that much just to change those bulbs.

I just like to have everything uniform, so i re-did everything with piaa extreme white bulbs.

If you do red or blue for your step light just dont drive with the doors open

What PIAA's did you get? The same type of wedge bulbs (Xtreme Whites) that go in the clear corners? I guess I could always pull out my bulbs from the clear corners and stick them in the sills to see how it would look. Or I saw in another thread putting in a 15" blue neon light underneath - it actually makes it look nice.

step lights are t-6 bulbs the same as in the dome/map light

Can someone help me? I am a NEWB as far as sizes of bulbs

1) What are DOME lights? Are those the lights that lit when you open your car?
2) I want to replace ALL the interior lights with white ones. From what I read, PIAA are the best?

Can someone give me direct links to a page where I can buy these PIAA in their correct size and the amount of bulbs I should buy to change all the interior lights (including glove box and trunk).

From what I understand, all the lights inside and trunk are the same size. What about the clear corners and clearance light?
