Spoiler Swap

Hello,

I have an 05 coupe with the larger of the two spoilers on the back. I would like to swap it out for the smaller factory spoiler. Have they made this easy? Is it a straight swap/same mounting structure?

Good one....blame it on the forum.

Anyways...I had the large spoiler and swapped to the smaller one. The holes are not the same and the large spoiler will leave some glue markings that the small one cannot cover up so you'll have to paint your trunk along with the spoiler swap...it's not cheap as I unfortunately found out.

The forum does not cause such errors.

You're better off swapping trunks. If you can't find someone with an 06+ spoiler that wants an 03-05 spoiler, then swap for a wingless trunk and just add the 06+ spoiler.

There is more than one type of silver so you have to be specific. Mine is Desert Platinum. There are like 3-4 different silvers.

I believe in 05 only one silver exists, aside from Diamond Graphite.

My paint code is KYO, for brilliant silver.

It would be nice to find someone to just do a trunk swap
