Hey guys,

I was thinking of ordering the oem front chin spoiler for my black coupe. I saw it on "everything g35" website. Has anyone ever ordered anything from them? Are your experiences good? I didn't want to dump a [censored] load of money on just appearance. I'd rather put in into performance. Should I buy the oem front chin spoiler. Or get the Gialla front lip and grille? I really liked the gialla front lip and grille but the stupid picture I see is always on a white coupe and I have no idea how it will look on my black coupe. If I get the oem front chin spoiler I will keep the stock grille.

 

i've ordered parts from them in the past...really easy...you can just order directly off their site and never have to talk to anyone...i ordered my oem lip, front and rear splash guards, and my skyline and 350gt badges from them...i like the oem lip because its affordable, nothing crazy and its still noticeable, ive even had lots of people ask if i had an aftermarket body kit on, even mustang drivers lol...and also it comes painted for that price so you dont have to wait for it to be painted...good luck

agreed, the oem lip isnt that expensive compared to the aftermarket AND it comes painted ($300). Other lips would cost more plus a $150+ paintjob. i feel the oem fits more into the lines, it is very clean yet showy at the same time and it completes the car especially if you already have the splashguards

 

What's their number? I dont remember seeing it on the website. Thanks.

Also what if I dont have the splash guards? Should I get it? I dont really like the look of it.

 

Anybody here have experience installing the front chin? is it easy? is this something that needs to be taken to a body shop?

ive heard it takes anywhere from 20 minutes to a few hours. Drilling is required but templates are provided. imo its not worth it to spend another $80 to have it installed
from what ive heard it is fairly easy

 

I had no templates, and it took me about 20 minutes to install. Very easy install, but I am somewhat mechanically inclined. Let me know if you guys need help.

Any info you can share about the front lip install is definitely appreciated. I am a computer geek and dont know much about cars so advice about tools, technique or whatever you can share is all good...

The lip took me about 1.5hours to install including the
time to cut the paper template and some ol' geezer
neighbor bothering me. Its not hard to do, just a lot of
labor involved vs other lips ive installed in the past.

Does anyone have a pic to share or the lip installed? I am thinking of picking one up to cover a scratch but I would like to see how high it goes on the bumper...Any pics will be greatly appreciated!!!
