Lettering in Ionic Grill

Question for all of you with the Ionic, Gialla, ect grill. How did you mount your 350GT lettering onto the mesh without it falling off?

I want something strong but not permanant.

It comes with the grey sticky stuff on the back. I just dont know if it is strong enough. I dont want to stick them on and a week later come out to find a letter missing.

Anyone have experience?

It is. I have experience. It won't come off. Rocked mine for well over a year with no issues.

Just blowdry the adhesive nicely so is hot and then stick it on right away

I dunno, I had a trunk mt fuji emblem on mine stuck on with the gray adhesive tape that came on it.

It was gone within a couple weeks. There is not a lot of surface area to bond to if you stick it directly on the mesh

Thumbs up

Zip tie it on there until the gLue dries. Use the spray adhesive by 3m, works like a charm

the adhesive that it comes with should be plenty...its the same stuff they use to stick the emblems on at the facatory.

PS - a single letter WONT fall off....its either all or nothing with the 350GT....the letters are all connected.

Picked a big roll of it up at Home Depot for $5. 3M tape is what's holding my roof spoiler and trunk spoiler on - nothing else (no screws or nuts & bolts, just 3M tape). Neither are going anywhere.

It has stayed on thus far. I may still hot glue the back side of it.
