My Spray painted tail lights

First the before picture



Took off tail lights



Wet sand it with 1000 grit sandpaper to clean.

4 coats of VHT Night shade.

Wet sand with 1500 grit sandpaper

Wet sand with 2000 grit sandpaper

Then took to body shop for clear coat

It took three days total

would like to see in better lighting hard to tell what they look like.

So far they look great. I've never liked those totally blacked out taillights.
As mentioned before though, better lighting would be great. Take some pictures outside.

what's the point of taking it to the shop to get clear coat? might as well let them do the entire job. a waste of 3 days if you ask me.

the shop was only one day. the total job was about 3 days to let the paint fully dry and it was a weekend so the shop was closed until monday and they have been sitting in the garage since I carpool to work and didnt need to install them right away.
