check out http://infiniti-parts.com/ they have the "smoked emblems you are looking for... They are called Black Pearl and you can find them under accessories... Check it out

i tried to do it myself....got like spray tint and stuff....didnt' go on the chrome very well...so i don't suggest anyone doing that....unless they have a good way to paint on chrome and make it stick

i did a light layer of smoke tint on my friend's is300 badges. they came out okay but close up the effect is not perfect, still has small specks of paint

they're wayy expensive from factory.. i got mine from factory.. they look so nice w/ desert platinum

i am sorry...i am a little confused..so you did get it from the factory even though they are way expensive? know any body shop/paint shop would actually do it?

yeh i got my car in the verryyy beginning in november of 02, but yeh i have no idea who would do it.. i'm sure if you buy them from a retail store the service center can install them for you

oh no..i don't mean install =) i can install them myself..not too hard..just some double sided form tapes...but...i was asking if you know any kinda shop would actually blacken the stock grills and stuff?

I had mine painted black from a body shop and i think it looks really good. before you paint them you should sand all the chrome off with a really fine paper
