Philips Vision Plus H4 bulbs are just Philips' brightest Halogen bulbs. Their color is typical Halogen color/look, its specialty is just maximum brightness/illumination. If you want the best brightness and something that will match your HID's, I recommend Philips BlueVision H4. I have run all kinds of different bulbs in my G and I'm currently using the Philips BlueVision bulbs and I couldn't be happier. They are pretty much as bright as the Philips Vision Plus bulbs (can't even notice a difference), but they match the color of the HID's.
It's hard to match the color of the HID's because Xenon headlights are just SO damn bright. You can get 5000K+ generic H4 bulbs to match our Xenons, but I found that they just look dim and more purple-ish than the bright healthy blue of the Xenons. The Philips BlueVision H4 bulbs produce a very gentle shade of blue, so when people see the bulbs, they know the low beams are Xenons and the fogs are Halogens, but the two bulbs work very well together.
