Powder coating interior panel?

Any one try powder coating their interior trim pieces? I want to make my titanium trim to have the same color as my exterior(IvoryPearl). I think its should look awesome and eye catching. Also, Powder coating should be a lot more durable then paint.

It needs to be metal to powdercoat. Unless of course there's a new procedure I don't know about.

It does indeed have to be metal. Even if you could get the powder to stick to the panels without the ionization, they would melt when they were baked.

Just paint the trim pieces. If you want an enamel-like shell, go with normal paint. If you want it to look like an OEM deal, use the paint that is intended for automotive plastic interiors. The stuff soaks into the plastic so there is no issue with chipping, flaking or discoloration if the piece is scratched. Check your automotive paint or specialty paint stores. If they won't put it in a spray can for you, spend the $10-$20 and get a hobby air-brush kit (spray-can propellant) from Wal-Mart or the like. They work perfect with this paint because it runs so thin. No bubbles, no runs... ...just a nice finished product.

You can have it blended to any custom color too.
