Removing shift **** with blue loctite

I really didn't want to post this on here cause I have yet to find an issue with this car that I can't solve myself, but this is driving me nuts. I have a Voodoo **** (which will be for sale btw, if anyone's interested!) that I would like to remove...I want to go completely back to stock. Anyway, I used some blue loctite on the thread so it would stay in place, and now I can't get it off! I'm talking like, I used towels, gloves, bare hands, everything except for prying the thing off with a monkey wrench (but that would damage the ****).

Any ideas? Elbow grease ain't workin...

I was considering using a monkey wrench but the problem is there's no nut I can grip with the wrench, the Voodoo **** is countersunk so there isn't anything under it.

It may take some heat to release the blue loctite. Try using a hair dryer to get the area, where the threads are, good and warm. Keep testing the area that you are heating up with your hand, so you don't get something too hot and ruin it.

You could also use a heat gun, but your chances of overheating will be a lot greater.
It shouldn't take much heat to loosen blue loctite.
