Repaint Front Bumper or go Aftermarket?

**Posted this in the General, but no one responded. Hopefully I could get some help here.**

Well guys, my front bumper looks like crap. The combination of exponential rock chips and hitting things on the freeway made it look horrific. So since my 1yr anniversary has passed, I should do something about it.

I was thinking of either repainting my bumper and adding a OEM front lip spoiler or just replacing the whole thing and go aftermarket. What do you guys think?

If I do go aftermarket, I would prefer something subtle. Not too extreme or flashy. Could you guys post some pics of some nice aftermarket bumpers or even aftermarket front lip spoilers that would make the front look better? Thanks.

Btw, no matter what I do, I am going to be adding a clear bra for sure.

I am in the same boat. I am thinking about either repainting or getting the NISMO coupe bumper or N-Type (looks the same but is a replica).

I have read some posts that mention the rock chips are less after repainting since aftermarket shops can put more layers (make it stronger if you ask).

I'm thinking about the same thing. I damaged my front bumper and bought another (that is still sitting in the garage). If painting the new bumper is too expensive I may just buy a pre-painted aero kit. Does anybody have a favorite vendor when it comes to the kits?

Thanks.

repaint of bumper should be like 300-400. So its up to you guys. If ur happy with ur bumper, i suggest just adding a lip to make it different and painting that! If you have the money, go with an aftermarket.. Nismo, IMpul. Gialla, Ken Style...

I used a company called Colors On Parade that came out to my house to paint the bumper on my previous car. They did an 'ok' job. Check colorsonparade.com for a franchise in your area.
