Frame Machine Needed to Install Subframe? Time sensitive.

I am having the rear subframe replaced due to an accident

My regular shop is going to install the subframe unless I am advised otherwise.

I was wondering if any of the auto body guys know if a frame machine is needed to position the subframe correctly before an alignment?

This thread is in this forum because frame machines are usually found in auto body shops.

Thanks!

Thank you

Can anyone confirm that a frame machine is necessary when installing a new subframe?

I'd say the frame machine is only necessary due to the fact that it was wrecked, and you want to double-check that none of the mounting points got moved. If not for the wreck, I'd say there's no need for it. People remove and replace rear subframes all the time to upgrade bushings and such, and they pretty much never use a frame machine.
