Front lip splitter on stock bumper

Anyone has front bumper splitter on their stock bumper? Has anyone try this? looks like it can provide some good protection for the bumper.

that is not a front splitter is any real sense of the word. a splitter makes the air go over and under th splitter to create better downforce. The pressure from the air hitting the bumper and the air passing underneath the car causes down force. This is more of a rubber protection piece for the underside of your bumper/lip. A true working splitter should have little to no deflection or bending under high speed driving, this thing has got to bend if not flap at high speed.

The gap occurs naturally due to how the front bumper and lip naturally flow up like that. The front lip is completely flat so it leaves that gap there. I am not sure what he used, but its something that could be easily made using thin thin plywood sheets laminated in CF and epoxy resin for asthetics and additional strength. Or buy an APR universal front lip and trim it to fit. or if you want to be ghetto about it, use some thicker plywood sheet trimmed to fit and paint it black (grassroots racing style!!!)

I'm sorry, I have no clue what you are referencing. What are you going to pick up now? What was the adhesive supposed to be used on and what does packaging foam have to do with anything?

You lost me somewhere.

My bad. haha! going to pick up a splitter. Somebody told me to use adhesive between the gap. I was considering using packaging foam to fill the gap but I like the idea of plywood better.
