I did mine by myself, but I would recommend two people.

I also ordered my spoiler from audislineclub_uk on 3/9 and as expected and informed via email from FedEx it arrived 3/20. The piece looks great and seemed to match. It was getting dark by the time I made it out tonight. While dry fitting the piece it did seem a tad long. I ordered the 1,170mm size and now I'm wondering if the original 1,165 recommended size wouldn't have been better. I was surprised how much the spoiler will need to be curved as it's installed. I will certainly get some help while doing that. Hopefully once I follows the exact contour of the trunk it will fit perfectly.

 

got it installed. it is a little bit longer than i thought. 1168 would be good or may be i didn't install it properly but one end is coming out a little bit.

still looks good for the money spent. small exterior mod goes a long way in making it look cool.

 

I got a lip spoiler now, does seem short i'm in the process of finding a vendor that will do the right size. I have a silver one but i'm debating on going black. Flat if i can it would match my handles, trim, wheels, emblems and ect. on the car. if anyone may know a vendor that will do this??????? If so i may go with the gloss black. Any suggestions.


I like the way this car looks with a black one. Not sure if its flat black vinyl wrapped or gloss.

what size did you end up going with with the lip? and i'd say go with the color that matches the rest of your car. If i had a silver car tho i would do the roof gloss black and leave the lip silver.

 

i'm not sure what size this lip was, i didn't know about the sizing issue till after i bought it. yes i would like a black roof but its expensive!

 

i just a reply back from bmwchop168 on eBay and he said their spoilers are 1173mm that's gotta be to long!

i personally got 1170mm and it came out perfect. when paying for it just type in the little message box for a custom length and they can do it no problem.

 

Thanks man I actually send him\ her a message and they said they could customize it. You should post a pic of yours up close both ends. I hope theyll paint it flat black for me also!

 

is this a different lip?? or did he install this lip on backwards or something. it looks higher than everybody elses. i kinda like it better.
