Black window trim

Hey, I found this pic here a few weeks back, I really want to do all the window trim in matte black.. But I brought my car to my powder and vinyl guy and he said I would not come out well if he tried to vinyl it or paint it on the car and that taking it off to paint it would be a huge deal.

here is the pic, does anyone know whose car it is or have incite on how to do this? Thanks

To paint it, you need to remove it. They are fragile pieces so you have to take your time and not force it too much. I would think you could do a vinyl wrap without having to remove them though.

Thanks, I think im going to vinyl them myself.. I just did my tails so I don't think it should not be to hard. The most annoying thing about everything I do to my car is that everything I want to do is already like that on my dads g37 coup.. window trim is all black, nicer grill, bigger wheels etc.. so annoying having to sit there and work for hours with that thing sitting next to me!

I had my trim wrapped with vinyl. Didn't need to take the trim off either. I got the idea to blackout my trim from BlkSedan4me. Looks much better then the chrome.

Yes matte black vinyl. Why wrap the pillars? They are already black and look nice.

well for you it makes sense not to but my car is IP so it would look weird if everything on the car was matte black or IP and then the pillars were gloss lol
