Btw maybe I should have cleared up the actual material the grill is being made from.

The grill isnt rigid plastic. Its the same material the M3 trunk spoilers are made from. It has more than enough strength to keep shape but is also bendable in whatever way you wnat to bend it to. I'm not sure if I can describe it online correctly. But I'll probably be showing JKDman the product first and if it helps I'll put up a video clip of it after its made

is this a coupe only grille or will there be a sedan version?

As of now final pricing is still estimated to being less than $300.

There are no plans to create a sedan version, but if there is enough demand a grill can be created for the sedan.

Prototype is expected to be finished next week. My friend had no time to finish it this week because of all the other projects he is currently involved in.

As of now there are about 30 people interested in the grill. If there are even more people by the time the grill is completed then the pricing will drop even more.

I'll keep you guys updated throughout all the phases of production.

The only way this would be $201 is if there were over 150 people buying this at once

At the current amount of people (20-25) its going to be in the upper $200 range. But if by the time this grill is made and there are about 40-50 people it should be lower than that.

Eitherway I find that even being slightly under $300 is a good deal considering how much the original is, having to wait for it from japan, and then having to go out and paint it yourself. It'll be almost $150$200 savings for you not to mention the time saved.

How much would it really cost to get this painted? Like $100 right? That link I posted earlier had the guy get his grill for like $285 shipped, + 100 = $385. So that's like $100 savings.

Yeah it's still a big savings, but that's the original, this is replica.

Don't get me wrong, I still think this is a deal, but not almost $200 savings..

Anyone know the difference between the Gialla grill and the Data Systems grill? They both look very similar to me.

The datasystem grill is much more squared off on the edges. I think the gialla in my opinion looks much better since it has rounded/curved edges. I honestly didnt mind paying $325 for my grill. I just though that having the same grill for under $300 painted would be a great deal for a good looking grill.

If you guys think its too much then I can always just stop this from being made and you can purchase the original. I was just trying to help bring an item into the market for you guys that I thought would be a good deal. This is the approximate pricing I got from the 20-25 people that were interested. Like I said the more people there are the better the pricing.

BTW the grill that is being sold for $285 doesnt include the shipping price of $18 which brings the grill in at $300. So its still quite a bit of savings. It may not the original, but I wouldnt be sell a shoddy item to other G35 owners. Anyways you guys can see for yourself when the prototype is made.
