Well, the grille is awesome. And looks exactly like the real one.
Annual, I don't think it's just yours, I think it shows up on other people that has the replica too.

If I had a 100% side by side comparison, I wouldn't be discussing this on the forum with the product seller!! If you're bored, you don't have to read this thread. I didn't say this was a bad product or bash on it if you read my previous post, I just thought I gave my opinion. This is a free forum, so stfu. Oh yeah, no offense intended .

Well i was parked side by side with 2 "genuine Giallas" at our last meet......
And there was absoutly NO visual difference in the fittment of my SilviaParts grill. It is a quality piece.
I think is is the angles and lighting in some of the pics that make the gap look bigger.

1Gig,
I have to admit, my post was totally inappropriate as stated. Xmas party last night got the best of me. Anyway..... I guess I was just trying to avoid the "beating a dead horse" situation. We have the product and can attest to the fitment. As OldVFRGuy stated, it must be the angles, lighting, etc. Kinda like those crappy pics people take of us that we hate when we see........

We cool? I really didn't mean to offend.

what type of paint is used on the mesh part? I've had grills painted before and the paint slowly starts to flake off and looks like crap.

Would clear coating the grill after painting possibly help this?

We use car paint to paint the mesh (the brand is DuPont), yes, clear coating it would help a little.

Here are pics of my ride with the grill.

Before today, i was pretty unhappy with the fitment.
I took it off and modified it a little and now it's a lot better.
Did my best to minimize the gap between the hood and the grill.

Since my ride is Diamond Graphite, the gap looks worse than it looks on the darker Twilight Blue or Obsidian Black. But after my modifications, it looks 100 times better and i'm happy with it. (for now...)

Looks good!!! What did you do to modify the gap on yours? I should receive mine sometime this week in DP.
