Hi I was wondering how many of you would be interested in an ABS plastic Gialla style front grille.

I was talking with a friend who owns an aftermarket tuning shop and was shocked to see how much I paid for this grill.

After further discussion with him he wanted to see if there would be any interest on the forums for these grills.

He said he would be able to make the exact same grills in abs plastic, painted and shipped for under $300.

If anyone is interested please let me know because I will be giving him my grill to make the copies. That is if there is enough interest the first prototype should be coming out in no time at all.

Quality and fitment will be guaranteed or your money back. Thats how he does business so there should be nothing to worry about.

As with painting as long as the proper paint codes are given there shouldnt be any problems with that also.

Ok there seems to be more than enough interest to have this done. I'll go ahead have my friend prepare to make the prototype piece.

Once that is made I would like to have another g35driver.com forum member in so. cal come out and test fit on thier car. As further reassurance for other members on the forum.

I dont think carbon fiber would be a good piece to make as a grill. Just the thought of fitment issues scare me...ABS plastic is much easier to install becuase of how much it can bend and take shape to whatever its being installed into. While carbon fiber is rather rigid.

Anyways its good to see that you guys are interested, and I'd be glad to provide a lower cost gialla grill to other g35 enthusiasts.
