Headlight problem

i have an 03 g35 coupe and my headlights were working fine. all of a sudden, i noticed my right headlight stock xenon not working. my fogs are still running but my headlight isn't. my bulb is fine because i tried it on the other headlight and its working. 2 days later, my headlight started working by itself and now it stopped working again. whats the problem? is this the ballast??

Ballast is mounted on the back of the headlamp its greyish colored and its screwed onto the headlamp somewhere, my old coupe did the same issue but I think it was a loose wire or something cuz I swapped the ballasts onto my 06 projectors and they worked just fine...
