Strafe Automotive Trunk Intstall

I just got the Strafe trunk and I didn't see any threads on how to install it. Anyone know how to install it or have a DIY?

Unbolt old Trunk.......Bolt up new Trunk. Close to check functionality.....Done :-)

Its pretty easy you need a torx 28 head to unscrew the bolts, remove the wire harness, take out the trunklid liner, remove the locker, put all those on the strafe. Pop only one of the struts off and install the new one.

i have the coupe and found one. I just dont know about the holes i have to dill now

You need to get a unibit for the holes.

look at your old lid for reference if you are still unsure. The bolting points are predrilled, but the holes for the liner are not.

Here is how I did the liner. Just put tape under where the clip holes are, make with a sharpie and outline anything else. Then drill

Thanks, figured it out, i thought it was going to be much harder. what color should i paint it?

If youre not heavily modified I suggest painting it the stock color.

i think it would be pretty cool to fade to cf, but thats super difficult... maybe paint to the lip and leave that cf
