hey, I want to get some nice exhaust tips/mufflers
for my g... do I need extra piping if I were to get one (would it fit the stock exhaust)? would the sound quality be improved? and where could I get it installed (any cutting and welding involved)? check the link: http://www.carid.com/2004-infiniti-g...ler-85973.html

 

I spoke with some one recently about this and they said that It would require extra piping that does not come with the kit seen on the link, is that true? and what is the stock inlet size on the g35?

Those universal mufflers are nicknamed fart cans for a reason.

 

yeah.. un fortunately.. just spent most of my money on a carbon fiber front lip and a carbon fiber front grill

 

that why i have to paint my rims nstead of buying some nice ones... sucks.. and fart cans? does that mean that they sound like crap?

 

i have not installed anything yet tho... I will end up doing everything myself.. Do i need to put new piping on the fart cans or are they ready to go out of the box?

 

buy a flowmaster 80 series, requires a little piping but a muffler shop can do it for you
