Plasti dip mirrors... yay or nay?
As seen on g53man04's:
His mirrors are gloss black, Plasti dip by itself is matte, which one should I do? Or should I leave my mirrors the stock color? (desert platinum)
Also, I have done garage door lip, plasti dip my grill, so It would contrast it fine, imo.

Reading FTW....
You FAIL... please try again
It must be the next aluminum wing or time attack stripe fad... Seems like people who dont want to paint things the correct way are using this junk left and right....

Good god, WTF is the problem with you guys?
...no fun at all, and bad attitudes.
Why waste the money on a pro paint job you aren't even sure you'll like?
I say have fun with it all you want until you figure out exactly what you want, then hit up the paint or PC shop if you can't do it your self.
No, YOU don't paint over plasti-dip. It turns out others have. And get this... using real paint!
How opinionated of you. It's for hacks, right? So which is it, you can't handle a spray can, or you're just a snob?

Yes it is.
I prefer/use an HVLP gun when I spray things, but I like my car to look good, not like some 17 year olds first Civic. I guess the philosophy of "do it right or dont do it at all" doesnt apply to everyone....
Theres a reason cars are painted with bc/cc and not sh;te in a can... but what do I know... Ive only been sprayin for 10 years
I can tell by your expertise "you can paint right over it" comment you dont know anything about painting, not even with a spraycan for christ sakes
