Low profile Wiper Arms?

Dudes and Chicks,

The stock wiper arms on the G are flippin HUGE, I mean they are so tall that they block off several inches of road visibility. Next time you sit in you car notice how much view is obstructed by these arms and you will see what I mean. The shorter you are (or lower you sit) the less visibility you have.

I'm not worried about blades, I'm sure you could easily find lower profile blades at any auto parts store, what I want is low profile wiper arms. The liquid cleaner injectors would of course have to be part of the solution, maybe those could easily be remounted somehow but I don't know...

lol what wiper arms? We both live in the bay, you know it rains only about 2 months of the year here. I don't even use the wipers when it does rain.

hehe, and thank god for that!

actually im talking about when the arms are not in use, just sitting down where they rest. they are very tall and block a portion of the road at the bottom of the windshield. i like seeing as much road in front of me for several reasons: to avoid obstacles or things like nails in the road you can only see close up, or for navigating around curbs, etc.

here is what i mean:

see how the wipers block a large part of the bottom view looking out of the windshield? next time you are in the car check it out and tell me if im crazy or not =)

Raise the seat. Or....... Can they be adjusted down--they will travel less while in use--the wipe arc.. I know I did this with my Mustang GT 2-3 years ago.

What are you talking about? They drop below the hood when not in use!!!

I don't like how they stop right in front of the driver b/f changing direction.

You must be sitting in the seat really really wierd, or your an alien with eyes somewhere other than your head!

check your arms position. There should be two (2) small horizontal marks on the lower portion of the windshield....That is where they set them at the factory....
if when off, they do not return to those marks, you may need to have them re-adjusted.....
Otherwise, take them off and keep a large bottle of RainX with you at all times......
Seriously, I use the stuff and at night I hardly ever use the wipers, (mainly because sometimes they chatter like a Biotch) and I have no problems driving.....

Maybe that's the problem, mine do not drop down below the hood when not in use, they stick up. Maybe a simple adjustment will solve this...
