Question on Installing Diffuser

So i recently purchased a CF Nismo diffuser and attempted to install it with just 4 screws but i ran into a little problem...there is a gap so i too it off and put double sided tape which fixed the problem but i then screwed in the top outer holes in the bottom,& when i did this the gap reappeared on the top sides...Do you guys have any suggestions? or do most or you have this small gap(dont think its supposed to be like this)?

Here's how I'd fix your issue, remove all old double sided tape and apply new. Reinstall but don't attach the center screws at first, when you do put spacers between the diffuser and the body so the ends don't come lose. Hope this helps....Gary
