Front bumper tear, need ideas!

Part of the bottom of my front bumper is torn and im looking for suggestions on how to fix it, pics attached.

Also does anyone know of a good way to get stains/tar/bugs off of the front bumper? I tried bug and tar remove, also tried elbow grease with no luck!

Is that the actual bumper or the scratch protector thingy underneath? If the second, some people cut theirs off for the extra clearance without problems. But how in the world do you break that at stock sedan height? Mine is perfectly fine and I'm dropped pretty darn low and scrape all the time.

use it as an opportunity to change out the bumper cus damn i hate those bumpers. its so ugly. nah u could probably put a ton of glue on the back to reattach it but it will tear again if u continue to scrape it

Mine started tearing off. I just cleaned the area around it with a brush and put it back in place with some hot-melt glue right along the seam. It's held up for months now, and since it's where you'd have to lay under the car to see, it's pretty much perfect.
