Driver side window being buggy

So I started to notice my window on the driver side starting to act up. occasionally, when I click the window button twice to make it go all the way up, it will close all the way and then instantly go down about 1/4 of the way and stop. however if I just hold the button up it will never do this, its only sometimes when I do the auto-close. its not that frequent so it hasn't bothered me a whole lot, but its kinda strange still.

any ideas/insights?

Sorry no one saw this/replied to it. Just posted this in a similar topic.
Mine was sort of like that for awhile until my driver's side window didn't go up at all. It progressively got worse and worse. For me, the window motor was the problem and I replaced it with a new one and now its fine. The window motors are pretty pricey though. I would take your car in to a window guy and have him look at it, see if he can tell what the problem is.

In your case, your window was a lot like mine, it will just get worse until it doesn't go up at all.
