I just like the way it looks on DG.

But it's just another reason for cops to pull me over, so I kept it off.

Before you spend your cash on smoked license plate covers check the laws in your state, half the members here have posted they received tickets for them. Haven't you seen enough to think maybe they're not a good idea?

in most states you are not aloud to have anything in front of your plates.. even clear glass.. so yes its technically illegal to put you plate in your front windshield or have license plate covers.. but hey, most of us tint our windows and tail lights, and have exhausts that pollute the air way beyond the legal limit.. so its all about what your willing to risk for looks or performance!

everything
I machined my own at work out of smoked acrylic.

As far as cops go, Ive got one in the city I work who has a hard on for me now becuz of it, pulled me over and basically harassed me for a bunch of things which were legit, stupid dick! Ive been pulled over for other little things and neither cops have said anything about it. Had a county cop come flying up to me on the highway a while back, not sure why, he ran my plates then dropped back and turned around in the median.

City cops are usually dicks about them.

I got a warning for it. He ended up searching my car aswell.

Just took it off this weekend because I dont want another reason for cops to pull me over.
