6000k HID kit installed!

G35lin and i recently installed 6000k HIDs on my coupe. The kit is made by Euro Otpix (http://www.eurooptix.com). The image below is a comparison between stock low beams (left) and the 6000k bulb (right). After taking these pictures we installed the HID kit on the fog lights.

The kit came complete with bulb and ballast. It is a bolt on kit that was fairly easy to install. It took us about 2 hours. The kit is well made and fits like a glove. I will post pictures of it later tonight. I can tell you right now that driving with these is a completely different experience. The light it emits is much whiter, and when the fog lights are on, it’s extremely bright! Stay tuned for night pics!

So you no longer have a high beam, correct? Or is turning on your foglights, your new way to flash people?

From your pics it looks like there is ALOT of light above the "cut-off" are you blinding people now?

Post some more pics, explain more! It looks like the beam pattern is always the high beam, and not just the fog.....

Well, g35lin drove in front of me on the freeway. He said that my headlights looked really bright but they weren’t aimed upwards. They can be aimed lower if need be. Any particular pic that you want to see? Ill snap some daytime pics tomorrow and any other requests tomorrow night.

What, who's kit did you use? How much did it cost? Are you going to match your other HIDs?

I like it!

hum.... i believe the kit he used is called EURO OPTIX. www.eurooptix.com

He used the 6k top and 6k bottom. Meaning that he replaced the OEM bulb with a 6k bulb and replaced the Fogs with a HID kit. Looks real NIce IMO. Ask Reggie(fxg35rida). he saw it in person.

I'd love to see prices and installation photos! Which 6000K bulbs did you use for the normal lights?

sorry guys i didnt take pics during install. we will be sure to do so when we install g35lin's 8k kit. for the "normal lights" i used a 6k bulb from euro optix. a 6k bulb from one company might be slightly different from another companies 6k, so i opted to get the entire thing from one place.

Prices have been pmed.
