1 of a kind custom grille !!!
THIS IS A JOKE... kinda. please no one flame me for this. im just trying to protect my car.
i returned my ebay grille (crappy) but the new one wont be here for 2-3 weeks (ordered a good one from strafe). i had to return the ebay grille quickly or lose the refund . i didnt want to leave my radiator and engine bay completely open for that long, especially considering i drive highway alot.
here is my quick fix:
Started with some chicken fence

and some twisty ties

then fit it to the opening with multiple layers

Howeve. i didnt like it too much. and the opening were too big. so i went to the hardware store, bought a peice of chicken wire for 5 bucks

same look but a little less trashy
This im hoping just covers it from bugs and big rocks.
just an idea for anyone who needs a quick fix to guard there car while there grille is being painted/replaced

LMAO!!!
I just painted my grill, the weekend project turned into a 6 day project, but I just drove without one. Most grills really dont keep much out. The odds of a rock hitting my grill and NOT going into the radiator and such are incredibly slim. Thats so damn funny tho, I'd personally leave it, but I'm sure you'd be fine going without. It'd take a pretty big rock to get past the fins and into the actual tubes to damage anything.
