Debaged...Sanded Through Paint...What do I do?
I know it was the ultimate noob, scrub, rookie move but while de-badging my 2003 Desert Platinum G Coupe I used the green side of the sponge w/alcohol to help get the glue off.
I took the G off first and realized I had essentially sanded through the paint. I went ahead and removed the rest of the lettering but now I am stuck with this blemish on my trunk.
Am I going to have to get the trunk repainted or is it possible to get touched up?
I know you can still see the Ghost of G35. I don't want to hear it.

You might want to try this before taking it to a shop.

Granted it will be trickier to paint a section of a panel as opposed to a whole piece, but it's worth a try.
If you take your time and mask off the rear of the car it can save you a lot of cash.
