Dont feel too bad...seems to be a pretty common problem. Infiniti apparently uses an extremely thin amount of paint/clear in some areas. The entire trunk lid will need to be repainted though. Probably looking at a solid $200.

Got it taken care of luckily. $100 to paint the panel at a friends shop.

next time get a hair dryer... and maybe a little bug and tar remover...took me 5 mins mount fuji is the only thing left...
