does anyone know what kind of tint is used to tint headlights or do overlays with it to match a black 04 coupe?
found these guys and they look good, but I was looking for more of the 5% tint not the 20%

5% on headlights is just plain stupid unless you NEVER drive at night. Open them up and paint them.

 

no i wasnt going to tint the whole thing and im not mechanically incline to open them up and paint sorry. so would 20% overlays look good?

You can PM bluebat he'll probably tell you... But it's not only noticeable but also illegal >.< it's like a big 'pull me over' sign =\

You want to use VINYL not tint.. You can get Vinyl just about anywhere. Tint wont hold up very long.

If you're doing cutouts you can use any shade you want. Darker would probably look better depending on what color your G is. Cutouts I'd go straight black or 5%.

^ DO ITT!! I got my 'GTR' tail light overlays from blue bat ages ago LOL and its still awesome =)

 

I was thinking of just getting a roll of whatever and doing it myself cause I'd like to do several car. If u would Lmk what u use for the opaque black vinyl that would be awesome. Thanks for any info

 

I'm pretty sure he buys his vinyl in wholesale quantities why not just PM bluebat and see if he'll send you a few yards worth.
