Painting engine bay Parts

I was thinking about painting a few things in my engine bay, and wanted opinions and maybe pics.

First off Battery cover or the whole black area surrounding the battery cover or both. Yellow part of dipstick, Coolant cap, windshield washer fluid cap. I was thinking either black for the small pieces and DG color match the other parts or all parts.

I have done nothing to my engine bay and wanted to start somewhere small. Was also thinking a dress up bolt kit possibly. Since most of my bolts are kinda rusted etc.

Thanks guys

now get a rhd cover and make it look clean. Btw what paint did you use? I feel im limited on the colors since i would only use the engine paint since its rated to 500 deg.

Based off of experience, OEM any paint will survive on battery covers and engine covers. Spray paint, water based paint, solvent based, high temp will all work.

For engine dress up shoot a Private Message to "SxExCx" he has a bunch of stuff that'll make your engine bay look AMAZING.

I went down to my local auto paints store and gave them my color code and they mixed me up a aerosol spray can of color matched paint. I've used it for a few things now, it doesn't seem to be a perfect match but I like the look. Seems lighter to me is all.

I'm thinking of getting the nrg fender washer kit, but cannot decide what color to get. So far my color way seems to be color match dg and black. I'm thinking silver fender washers, any opinions guys on color or products

I may put off my engine bay makeover untill spring. Winter is coming soon and I need the money elsewhere unfortunately.

But one day maybe it will look a tiny bit better
