Window problem - Replaced motor, still no luck...

First off, thanks for the helpful sticky on replacing the window motor. Got a replacement motor from Advance Auto and installed it without a hitch.

Was disappointed though to get everything back together and I still seem to have the same problem: the window works about half the time. Sometimes it will go all the way up and down without trouble, sometimes will get stuck halfway or all the way down, and sometimes will not even move at all. I have also noticed that the window sometimes drops the half inch like it is supposed to upon opening the door, and sometimes it doesn't drop at all. This seemed to act the same before and after the motor replacement. So I'm assuming the motor was not the problem after all.

Any other common problems I might try before breaking down and taking it to a dealership?

Thanks for any help you might offer!

Any ideas at all? Also I guess I should mention that through all this the passenger window works perfectly. I'm thinking it has to be some type of connection problem. Any common areas I should check for this? Thanks again

Yeah, i was wondering that too. Thought about trying to plug the passenger switch in the driver side to test it out. Sounds like its either the switch or a loose wire somewhere. I was also curious if there might be a relay or fuse that I might could change first to save me from tearing into the door again

Also, I just realized the window seems to work one time after closing the door... It'll go down, then up, then stops working until I open and close the door again. Any possible explanation for this?
