I have the same hood on my car and its been looking great for over 3 years now and it sits out in the florida sun every day, all day when I am at work. The trick is to clearcoat cf parts. Yellowing is not just a seibon issue, it is a gelcoat issue. All gelcoats need protection from UV and clearcoat can solve this.

Yep a nice little wet sanding with some 1500 and a couple coats of clear and there will be no yellowish tint. I bought mine used and it was too late to save it so now im painting it DG!! Hood looks great on your car though!!!!

Ok so how you exactly take good care of it? my car is washed every weekend... plus in the summer i clean it more , and yeah I dont want my hood to start yellowing like my headlights which **** me off right now , thats how I got them from the guy i bought the car from

If you dont want it to yellow take it to a shop and have them spray it with a few coats of clear. Its the only way to protect it from the sun.
